Online Books and More for Study and Reference

The Mulford Library provides access to numerous full text electronic books and many online knowledgebases. Off-campus access of most resources is restricted to faculty, residents, staff, and students affiliated with the Medical Center or Health Science Campus colleges.

Here is a sampling
AccessMedicine - clinical and medical textbooks and more
eMedicine/Medscape - peer reviewed articles on over 6,500 diseases and medical topics, richly illustrated with some 28,000 multimedia files
MD Consult -full text access to selected medical texts, drug information, patient handouts, and more
Nursing Consult [not available off campus] -includes books, practice guidelines, clinical updates, and more
OhioLINK e-book center - online books in all academic areas
R2 Digital Library Books -select medical, nursing, and allied health books
UpToDate [not available off Campus] -clinical information resource containing over 7,400 topical articles in 13 medical specialties written by over 3,800 experts in their respective fields
