November is National Novel Writing Month!

The University Libraries with support from the Department of English and the UT Writer’s Guild will be participating in National Novel Writing Month, NaNoWriMo.  In November writers are challenged to write 50,000 words in 30 days.  The Carlson Library will be providing space, snacks, and the opportunity to connect with others for moral support.  An informational meeting will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013, 5-7pm in Carlson Library room 2010 with weekly write-ins throughout November.  More information can be found at  Is there a novel inside you?

  1. A huge thanks goes to Ruth Jacobs for getting the idea started for nanowrimo at the library. Big thanks also to Julia Martin and the rest of the marketing committee for such great promotional work. What a lovely chalkboard, Hannah! Thanks also to the English Dept. and the UTWG. Looking forward to the month of writing.
